My 99legacy outback 5 speed worked perfectly. 'Old one came out pretty straight forward. If you intend to drive the pin out, you'll find that a 6- or 8-inch punch is most efficient. It was difficult to put the pin back in. An open hole about 3/8 inch deep was drilled on the end of a round stock to be used as a holder to reassemble The pin needs to be installed.
