In the beginning, I would like to say these bushings fit a B16 transmission linkage, and I'm sure they would fit any B series shift linkage as well. The car I installed it on was a 1999 Civic There is no fitment for a regular civic they can only be used on civics with This is not clear to me why the seller does not specify the compatibility of the car. It is a very simple, straightforward installation, the only difficult part was the bushing in the front. A little bit of difficulty was involved in setting it up. To do this, I used a gigantic pair of pliers, but it would have been more efficient to use a C clamp with a piece of wood. I needed a professional lift, and it took me about an hour to complete the project. I was expecting my bushings to be fine in the first place, but after replacing them, shifting is much more precise. Also, the mechanics completely eliminated my car's tendency to buck when driving slowly If you were driving through a school zone following behind another car in second gear at 15 mph. This means the middle sleeves will have to be reused. You can pop out the factory bushings with a large screwdriver if they are comming out. This kid does not come with grease. I purchased some from the auto parts store near me because it was recommended. The marine grease I used was waterproof and multipurpose. Ensure that all metal contacts with the bushing are greased. The black ones and red ones both have the same color, so many people wonder why it's the red ones are different. These black ones contain an additive that adds lubrication and requires less grease than the white ones. It came with instructions from a different bushing kit as well, which was a bit confusing. View a few YouTube videos to learn how to install them if you are not confident installing them yourself. This is the best $11 you can find. Spending even a single dollar has been worth it!.
In the case of a first-time installation, you might experience some issues. It's tough to make the bushing for the linkage, but you can find some video tutorials on You Tube on how to. Message me if you do not understand, and I will assist you to the best of my ability.
In order to align the round donut evenly in the hole, you will need something to evenly press it in. The final solution was to use a spring compressor bolt, and to unthread one of the spring holders, then insert the bolt rod through the hole in the donut, and to tighten it. This should be fairly easy.
When installing the lube, be sure to use a lot. Removing the shifter is the best option, and doing so underneath the car is not recommended.
You no longer have to deal with sloppy shift sticks. It is possible that black has some lubricating properties that can assist with reducing.
It was excellent.
