In order to hold them in place, there are clips on the ends of them. The process is not at all difficult. Perhaps a cutting tool will be needed to remove the old bushing.

The product was bought for my 2004 Cadillac SRX V6 AWD. It is no longer offered by GM for the AWD SRX's, so I had to order this Dorman part to replace my original one. Though the overall design is good, the c-clip that locks it all together is a little bit weak. A bad clip was used on my repair for no other reason than to repair it. I was concerned it would fail after reading another review which mentioned the issue with the clip, but I had no choice since I had no choice. Installing it was pretty straightforward, and I decided not to crimp the C- Make sure that you clip a little bit at the edge to keep it from coming So, I had it for a whole day and then it popped off one day while I was parking at the store. There was nothing I could do. By crawling under the vehicle to put the transmission into park, I managed to put the car Once I was able to start the car, I was fine. As I crawled under the car to put the transmission into Drive, I had to engage the parking brake and put the parking brake on. Although I was relieved to finally be home, I was in a lot of pain. When I removed it all, I welded a washer on the end instead of using the piece of crap it came with You might want to clip the video You never have to worry about it falling Make sure you don't use a bad C-clip. As an alternative, I suggest welding it that way it will last and not leave you out in the rain as.
It's the same cheap ass both times There was a clip that I took the car to a friend's house in a different town the second time and ended up getting it home at 12am after struggling My goal tonight is to find something with a pin before leaving work. It's better to go to a hardware store than to waste money on a software program. Make sure you have cotter pins and rubber vacuum hose at hand. This is done.
Until that happens, it seems good, but I recommend using pliers to bend the c clips after installation to ensure they do not fall out. Otherwise we got rid of the rattle and loose shifter in our 05 Srx v8 AWD.
I bought the car at an auction with an issue shifter that was looser than a Soviet truck, and adding this firmed it all up. Installing it was my responsibility, so I cannot comment on how easy it was, but I only had to pay for a half hour labor charge, so it probably did not cost me much.
There is a way to make these work if you put in a little effort.
You did a good job!.
The clip and grommet fit fine, but the stud on my 2003 CTS was too small to use a solid washer between them. As long as the shifter does not make that clanging noise and is not loose, I shouldn't complain. I feel like I just bought it. I would use this service.
As long as it's worth its weight in gold, it's got to be worth the cost. That shifter noise has been bothering me for two years now, and it only took me (a novice) a few hours to fix it. There was a need for both Despite having factory bushings at both articulation points, i had completely worn out bushings on my 2003 Cadillac I feel as if it were night and day!.
