Selected User Reviews For GPB1R - 10MM Ball Stud Bracket for Gas Prop/Strut - Set of Two
The quality of the product is high if you receive the Kencon model, but its finish is not quite durable. One of the brackets I received (LPC) was a different brand. As a result of this LPC bracket's depth on the back of the 10mm ball socket where it is pressed into place, the radius and hole alignment are a bit different from what is shown in the photos. Having ordered 4 sets on two separate occasions, I noticed 1/2 brackets in this package are from a different brand. I made a pre-made bracket to attach the fittings where I noticed that 1 / 2 wasn't the same bracket model or make with the same measurements. The bracket has a different radius, the height of the "triangulated" portion with a 10mm stud is slightly different, and the holes between brackets are approximately offset. A three-mm diameter.
That's great. This is what I used to change over my manual Honda hood to gas-operated holders. It was excellent.
First use of the item broke it. In this instance, the pin was pushed into the frame and flew out of the shock absorber still attached. As for the second one, I'll weld both sides to see how it turns out.
The software is exactly what the adverts claim and the application works great. They made up springs I used on my old Mustang hood to keep the hood open when it was closed. This kit is half the price of a kit, and works just as well.
I had to raise the lid the first time the pins snapped off.
As shown in the image, both balls are facing in the same direction. Apparently there will be no more sets of this for eight days, after I got one facing the correct way and one facing the wrong way. I don't know how to contact anyone, so this is the only method I can think of.
I liked how it worked.
The function works as expected.
