I have a 2011 Dodge Ram Sport Crew Cab. I looked under the dash and found two extra plugs, so I ordered this and it plugged right in and works great. I don't have the messages on the dash telling me what's going on, but that's fine as long as it works, which it does. It lights up and I can adjust everything without having to go to the dealer.

My brake controller in my 2010 RAM 3500 was bad (trailer light on all of the time and dinged when we were towing the trailer), but it still worked

I was sick of staring at the dash light and hearing the bells, so I ordered this unit after double-checking the part number, and it worked perfectly. I'm a happy camper now that the lights and bells have gone out!.

For my Dodge Ram 1500, I required an electronic brake control module. The factory plugs were already installed beneath the dashboard. So all I had to do was plug the module in and go. It was a fantastic unit that fit like it had come straight from the factory. It's preferable to having a bulky aftermarket unit that will inevitably lower the value of my truck.
