Questions & Answers

Is the bottom bullet connector the same size as the one on the top of the switch?

Thank you for contacting me on

Which thread/hole size does it have?

It's a mystery to me. With a switch in the tapped hole of the '64 Chevy, I replaced it.

Could you please tell me how I would ?

A push button is attached to the opposite end of original wiring from a door jam.

How do you connect the 12 volt wire to the switch and what do you do with the Does my truck have a switch on it, as it is a 6.4 C-10?

The wiring kit I installed in my 68 Chevelle is from the American Autowire company. Combined with the interior lights, the dome light and the interior lights make up one circuit. There should be 12 volt circuits on all of them, but I don't know whether that helps.

This is a great item
5/5

My 1963 Impala had no problem installing the product, which was well built to handle the heavy doors on my car. Previously, I had bought one to make sure it was a good product. The first product I purchased led to an immediate purchase of the second. This is a great.

Perfect! Thanks a lot! On my 1981 GMC C1500 pickup, I fixed the cab courtesy lights

As far as I can tell, they are exactly the same as the OEM part.

It is OK to replace an OEM part

If I can find one identical to this but with two wires so the ground can be separately wired, it would be ideal. What's the reason? Taking away the original may turn the threads into something purely gonzo I haven't encountered anything that cannot be fixed with a helicoil, but that took a lot of time and I am extremely.

The Best Fit, 73-72 A Chevy/GMC Blazer/Jimmy from 1987
5/5

I replaced the door jam switch on my 1976 GMC Jimmy with this replacement part and it worked perfectly. When heat shrinking the wire connector, make sure to use some die electric grease first. Before you install the door jam, make sure that you clean the mounting surface and chase the threads in the door jamb. In this way, a good ground can be ensured. There is a good chance that I will not replace this switch for at least another 45 years.

It would have been nice if they had I purchased the product and it is exactly as described
3/5

Only problem is it was a bit smaller than the factory ones in my 79 K5 blazer and you can't tighten it. The wheels of fortune just keep turning. In addition, the threads on my vehicle work and my factory ones that don't work thread in and tighten up so I am not sure what is wrong with them but I am a bit disappointed.
