Even though the item said it is for a reading door, I still bought it. My 1992 Ford F-150 had an old one, and when I took it off I found it to be worn out. As an alternative, I purchased the 150 model, since it looks just like this one. The new one was installed today 4/18/2021 and is an exact replacement for the original. I like it very much. Happy is the best way to describe my feelings. This is one more thing I can cross off my list of things to fix.
The IDI is 3. Exactly the right fit, I bought it to test a blowing fuse (#8) by elimination and figured it would be a good idea anyway. When I see the rubber boots begin to deteriorate, I will update. In order to prevent water from seeping through the boot, I applied a little sealant.
