Questions & Answers
If you ask a snarky question, you should answer a snarky question. The switch is for the door. As soon as you open the door, it turns on the dome light in your car. Then, normal is whatever you deem to be normal. It's fine if the door is normally open, then the switch is in the "closed" position, and the overhead lights When the door is normally closed, the switch is "open", so the light will not be on. As you can see, the switch is in the closed position until the unit is installed and the door closes or the switch is physically depressed. You won't believe it, but the securing assembly is spring loaded, so it returns to the closed position when you release it. The above explanation should be sufficient.
The switch in the seat belt buckle jammed one day, and the buckle was no longer A switch on my 2003 Honda reminded me the lights were on by replacing the old one. Although I am not sure if ground applies to the open or closed, I don't know whether it is ground at all. I know it's awkward, but
This does not happen, it has a different connector on the side. You should look for Standard AW1071, or Honda 35400-.

The first time it has worked in over 10 years was when I removed the switch from the pass side of my car and installed it in my drivers door jam! In this case, the driver's door switch was just cracked enough to prevent the reminder from going off, but not enough to cause the dome light to no longer work. It was so easy to install! I just purchased the switch and placed it in the pass-side!.
On the web you can find plenty of instructions and videos on how to fix this problem. You may also switch the passenger side door unit with the driver's side if you prefer. My favorite choice was to get the new one for cheap and it merely took me a phillips head screwdriver and two minutes to remove the old one from the door frame and install this new one. I truly love that the internet allows you to locate a 2 minute fix for cheap. As a result, I enjoy the sound of the lights on alarm now that the problem has been solved and I have been spared a lot of anguish.
You will not have to deal with dead batteries anymore. When I turn on my Honda, the lights come on The left-hand side This was the best six dollars I've spent since my alarm stopped working and I drained my battery a few times more than I'm willing to admit. The screw has been removed. My time spent swapping out the battery was no more than two minutes. As of now, not only do I get an alert when my lights are still on when the engine is shut off, I also get a reminder to log out A light on the ceiling of my cabin and the ignition alarm will come on when I open the door. My first impression was that the light had gone out. It never occurred to me. A good product that fits well and can be easily swapped out if needed. This is a great product. My car will no longer have to be jumped by strangers in the middle of the night.
I love how this fits perfectly, and I can't say enough about how easy to install it is. If you remove the old switch, ensure you don't let the wires fall into the jamb when you replace it! As I said, it was easy and the problem with my intermittent door switch was resolved. This was a great product at a great price! It has been on the car for months now and is still working great.
Watching a youtube video that describes what happens to a switch (using the seat belt in the door) and the battery running down when there are no lights on the warning buzzer, we ordered our replacement and installed it fairly easily. The wires and what's left of the old switch may need to be fished out with a hooked tool. Because the car's door buttons controlled its features, the replacement car had features that I had never even realized it had.
In order for this sensor to work, you will need to modify your door. It was not possible to push this sensor into the door when it was closed due to the stem being too short. I had to tape the stem to the door and fit the sensor into it.
