A new set of doors for my 1998 Chevrolet crew cab truck was installed.
You can check the diameter with yours to be sure it fits, so that you can know for sure if it will fit your pickup. This one fit my 98' GMC pickup.
There is no wiring diagram I can provide you with. The only solution is to hook up an ohmmeter and find how many pins break the circuit. In between the third and fourth pins, there is probably a signal for the key in ignition or the warning lights on.

That's great! A 1995 GMC Sierra K1500 was installed with the kit There is now no problem with the Dome and Courtesy lights (interior) and Cargo lights (white lights in the third brake light). A tip It is important to get the right switch (black or white) both are different lengths and the pin/trigger is longer on the ACDelco This is the longer switch (white) of the ACDelco D6066 family. This may be helpful for you.
On this 1990 Chevy 3/4 ton pickup truck, these door switches were installed. Getting to the OEM switches wasn't exactly easy as it is now with a newer mid-range switch A vintage Chevy pickup truck from the 1990s. Compared to the old switches, the new replacement switches seem to be better quality. While the length of the actuators was longer, and the base of the switch had more material to keep it in position, the new switches seemed to be a better investment. We replaced the OEM switches due to intermittent operation that caused the battery to drain.
During the repair, the passenger side old part was faulty, locking and leaving the lights It was easier to get to the interior by taking off the glove box. The old system was taken out and the new system installed. It can be repaired easily. I took about 30 minutes to fix it. Now the lights do not.
The part should be installed on the driver's side of a 2000 Escalade. I removed the old one because it was okay but since this was cheap I decided to replace it to see whether it fixed the issues with the lights and the alarm going off while driving random. TRIED TO PULL THE OLD ONE OUT AND IT just fell apart as soon as I grabbed it. We got the broken components out and the new sensor is ready to connect to the new wiring harness. The lights started working as soon as I plugged it in. I just needed a few seconds to move the old stuff out and get the new stuff in. Thanks Amazon for repairing my laptop so quickly. As always, they had it here in no time.
When my dome light did not work, I had an issue. I could not shut off the lights and they would stay on. Using this switch did the trick. Had to use the override, but it worked in the end! You have to take apart the instrument panel frame in order to install it, since that is very easy to do. After removing that, you can remove the old switch and replace it. It requires no tools to do this.
It is the second of these I have had to buy because of my own stupid mistake. I had to pull out the old one from the fuse panel access door (drivers side) and feed the wire back through the mount hole and connect the new one.
Despite a damaged first package, I received one intact switch and one that looked like it got into a tussle with a fork lift wheel, but Amazon resolved the issue very quickly and mailed me a replacement free of charge two days later. I'm glad that the interior lights are working.
A perfect match to the original part. I've fixed an intermittent issue with my interior light when the door was opened, and this part has also fixed my cargo light on the bed.
