It is true. Because the original owner spliced up the wrong side marker on my cousin's car, I had to replace the front side marker. For now, I left this Ford 6R3Z-A socket assembly available if you don't want to use the socket assembly anymore I am 13411 I've been using the BA Socket Assembly and it's been working

It's suggested that you do. It was the wiring, not the sensor, that needed to be repaired. Trying this first or replacing both the wire and sensor is a good idea first.
My air bag sensor assembly was allowed to be integrated with this - and it included two heat shrink butt connectors as well.
This was the perfect fit, and the problem was resolved!.
