At first, I had my doubts about how it would turn out. but WOW! The amount of light these produce astounds me. My map lights are no longer functional. Simply point these at the target. They're a dazzling array of colors. Take a look at the image below for an example of what I'm talking about. if they're overly bright They will, in fact, be. as other buyers have pointed out To dim them down, simply turn them inwards towards the sides. I left mine at full strength just to be able to laugh about it whenever I see someone open the mirror! They usually curse or slam their head through the window next to them, throwing their hands up in the air, in an attempt to avoid it. I can confidently say that I would buy these again and highly recommend them. I never expected to enjoy looking all the way up my nose as much as I do. They are, however, sufficiently bright. An aside. If they don't light the first time, try a different approach. They'll work if you turn them over. They are diametrically opposed to one another. specific. awesome!.

Did I mention that it's BRIGHT? As you can see in the right sun visor, these were a direct replacement for the cheap incandescent lamps. They were so bright, I couldn't believe it. I can't remember the last time I said those leds were too bright. I would advise you to avoid using vanity mirror lights for this application. They're brighter than the new led dome lights I installed recently. I had to turn them 90 degrees so that they pointed at the mirror rather than the user to make them less intense. My wife claimed that she needed sunglasses to see herself and that she would not open this while driving at night, and I kind of agree. So, do they have any intelligence? Is it really that bright white? Yes and yes, but not a good choice for a vanity application, but in all fairness, I can't give too bright a bad review.

I can't stand looking at it because it makes me blind. Normally, I want the brightest LEDs possible, but the light from these LEDs is so bright that I can barely see the mirrors on my Acura TLX 2018 sunvisors (and this was in broad daylight). I tried turning them at a 45 degree angle to reduce glare, but it caused two persistent colored blotches the shape of the LEDs for a short time. I'll keep them for a little longer to test them in real-world scenarios, but I'm pretty sure I'll replace them with something less bright and maybe a little warmer (while I prefer whiter lights, skin looks more natural with a warmer light, which is why lights in bathrooms should be close to 2700k or your wife.

These appeared to fit, but their base diameter and shape did not match my sockets when they arrived. Typical Chinese garbage. . . br>It's a toss-up whether or not to return them. What a joke. I'm either going to lose half of what I paid in Amazon fees, or I'm going to spend $15 on gas to drop it off at the nearest UPS store. Customers have no chance with these nickels. Returns on dime products. . . . This is why, Amazon, you are universally despised.

These bulbs have a tremendous amount of light output. They showed up on time and in good shape. They were far too bright for the vanity mirrors, in my opinion. The glare makes it impossible to see your face. They, on the other hand, rock in the glove box and trunk! These are the bulbs to get if you want super bright bulbs. Except for the vanity mirrors, I strongly advise against it.

The colors are extremely vivid. Turning it slightly to the side, as suggested, will help to reduce glare, especially if you have two lights on either side of the mirror. I had both bulbs facing the back because I only had two bulbs and it was only ambient light. It worked just as well.

The color and brightness are both excellent. I'd estimate the color temperature to be around 5000K. It's possible that the vanity lights are a little too bright.

These are far too bright for a vanity mirror, in my opinion. 6500K appears to be the temperature. Despite the fact that they are too bright for a vanity mirror, I will keep them.
