This lock performs admirably, but if you want original quality at a comparable price, get the AC delco. The bezzle is not flat like the original and is not crimped 360 degrees around the cylinder, as I used it on a muscle car. Because it is held together by only four small tabs, it is prone to being put together incorrectly. br>Had a hard time finding the right orientation lock for my 1968 Camaro, and this lock fits perfectly. It just had a bad bezel.
This leaves the rod to be modified by making the necessary bends with two pairs of pliers. It only takes a few minutes and is fairly straightforward. Because of the modification and the key cylinder being 90 degrees off, I gave it three stars. It performs at a five-star standard.
If you're not sure, check which way the clip goes from the bottom and whether the small pins on the lock chamber line up.
The product is functional, but it does not fit my 1977 Camaro because it is not long enough, nor is it the correct lock. To be clear, the lock is a solid piece held in place by two 7/16ths bolts, not metric.
For a 67 cutlass, this is a perfect fit.
It worked perfectly in my Buick! I am extremely happy.
It doesn't fit inside the hole and it doesn't bolt on correctly, so it's not intended for the 1977 Camaro. It's a false advertisement, and I'm not happy with it.
I didn't bring a black seal (o-) with me. I had to force it in because it was too big. Moreover, the clip did not fit.
