Not sure if you can switch something on and off with it. In order to shut off the circuit you would need to deliver more current. There is no way to disconnect it by pulling it up.

What is the water resistance of this product? Will I be able to mount it on my ATV?

There is no water-tight seal on the breakers themselves. In order to achieve waterproof functionality, you may consider an ATC/ATO holder (with cap).

Would this work for the power wheels battery in a kid's car? One of my sons keeps blowing fuses and has gone through 3 in the last two ?

Power Wheels are suitable for use if the load is less than 30 Amps.

Do you know if the 5amp version works as a circuit protector in the 24v circuit of an HVAC ?

For troubleshooting low voltage shorts in HVAC systems, I bought them and will use them to shut down the computer if I exceed the normal electrical charge of 2 amps. I wish they came in 3 amp versions, but many furnaces Although I've had the opportunity to play with it, you should have safety protecting your equipment in case of a direct short, such as when a mouse built a nest using low voltage wires in the condensing unit. However, I will just use them for testing if my board has a 3 amp fuse while I will use them for boards with 5 amp fuses or intermittent problems where it works great but the amps are low while I am testing.

This was used to protect a boost/buck converter (and downstream electronics) in a battery box I built. It hasn't tripped yet, but I have been careful not to throw more than 6 amps at it. Originally, I was just going to use a fuse, but this shape doesn't come in 6 amps you need the round glass ones, which I didn't want to use. Because the converter is rated at 6 amps, either this or glass fuses had to be used. It tends to trip less today because I can just push a button if it does. It is important to note that some locations do not accommodate this When viewed in this form factor, the fuse is almost twice as tall as a normal fuse.

It works really well

I've reset the device at least 70 times and it continues to work. It works really well. Whenever I leave my dump trailer plugged in when the truck is running, I blow the fuse in the trailer. Before I discovered this, I had used two other packs of fuses.

You can reset the device by pressing the tiny black button. Despite being a little taller than the average ATC fuse, they got it right on the width front. Even the fuse panel can accommodate it, even if there are other fuses nearby.
