We are looking at a circuit breaker here. Unlike a switch, it doesn't operate.

Because I didn't read the description, I made a mistake. I was unaware of the size described but it was the one described.

Previously, I ordered a circuit breaker without the waterproof button and that would have been the wrong choice

As far as I know, the replacement button fits the previous one. I had an older breaker that was smaller, however. To get this to fit, I had to slightly widen the hole in my dashboard. I find it to be very useful. My pontoon boat had been wired with a 5 amp breaker, so I upgraded to a 10 amp breaker for the LED lights.
