I'm delighted to be of assistance. Our fan thermostat temperature swith is universal fit and does not require a specific thread pitch.
I'm delighted to be of assistance. This fan thermostat switch will not function as a coolant temperature sensor, sorry.
You use it to turn on the relay's ground wire. When the coolant temperature reaches 185 degrees Fahrenheit, the thermostat grounds the wire that is connected to it. I realized as I was writing this that you were probably asking if you could use this as a fan ground switch. I wouldn't do it. Maybe a couple of times it will work. However, I seriously doubt that it is designed to handle real current.
On the market, there are basically two types of sensor/sender probes, plus a third, less commonly used sender that combines both properties of what I call a thermal switch (such as to fire an indicator light in the instrument panel) and can be used to simply turn on/off a radiator fan or trigger an instrument panel warning light; and the other, which was designed for use in analog applications with variable resistance and current. a meter or a temperature gauge While both will behave as if they are analog when tested, only this type of switch (on or off) has the triggering on/off property. There is a hysteresis that causes the fan to turn on at a specific temperature. However, it turns off when the temperature falls below the threshold at which it was turned on. Otherwise, at the threshold temperature, it would become jittery and appear unstable. Thx

The third time‘s the charm, and not even 100% sensor is 14° off the other 2 2 were 23° off cheap price but you get what you Pay for and unfortunately when.
The first attempt failed miserably. There was a lot of coolant all over the place. br>I tried the second one, and the results were the same. br>The third method was successful. Bench testing should come first, in my opinion.
has been let down. Although it is described as a fan switch, it does not work with the truck's temperature.
I would steer clear of any Amazon product that looks similar to this one because they are all manufactured by the same company.
Excellent value for money.
It appears to function as expected. It powers the dual electric fan system I have on my bbc.
The thermostat switch was in perfect working order.
Fit right.
