Is it possible to wire this system so that it not only uses the temperature sensor, but also turns on when the air conditioner is turned on?

When the air conditioner is turned on, you must connect the gray wire from the sensor to ground.

However, this is a lovely kit

The thermostat switch included in the kit is defective; the center piece containing the threaded stud is loose and will not allow it to be tightened. The nut on top of the electrical connector can be tightened, but the stud inside the switch housing still swivels. Aside from the switch issue, the rest of the kit is excellent; the wires in the relay connector and the inline fuse holder are both of adequate size and quality.

I have two fans that each draw 20 amps, so the product should be rated at 39 amps instead of 40 amps

On day 2, I blew the 40 amp fuse and didn't have a spare, so I hard wired it to the battery, and the relay stopped working soon after. br>The Kit should have a 39-amp rating. For those who, like me, enjoy pushing boundaries. br>br>On the plus side, the kit was simple to put together and reasonably priced. br>br> I recommend getting a spare fuse right away. Also, if your fans draw more than 39 amps, you'll need a second relay.

This is the second time I've had to purchase one; the first one only lasted about a month. I placed an order for the same one to keep my vehicle running while I look for a better solution. Fortunately, placing an order with Amazon is simple and quick. This one, I'm hoping, will last a little longer.

I ordered this kit specifically for the 185 on 175 off temp sensor, which cost more than the others that shut off at 165, and instead received a kit with a 185 on and 165 off sensor, which I was a little disappointed about, but the kit was really nice and easy to install.
