Questions & Answers

What are the requirements for properly operating this switch? I have a 1970s Cutlass and I want to put dual fans in it. ?

A fan. This switch wires to the relay for relay ground, and the relay is powered by the battery. It's that easy. This toggle isn't very precise. I got rid of it and replaced it with a Dakota digital pac2750 electronic fan controller, which is much more accurate, precise, and customizable.

Is this supposed to be a replacement for the a350 sbc's water temperature sending unit? Is there any way to keep the temperature gauge working if that's the case?

Hello, this isn't the part you're looking for. It's time to change the temperature! When the proper temperature is reached, it returns to ground, triggering a cooling fan relay. For the gauge, you'll require a sending unit. If the temperature gauge isn't working, check to see if the wiring between the sending unit and the gauge is in good shape. If the sending unit fails, you must replace it with one of the same type; otherwise, the gauge calibration will be incorrect.

Is this part compatible with a Saturn 1 from the year 1994? 9 engine?

To install it, you'll need a 3/8 or 1/2 pipe port on the coolant side of your engine.

air. The fans were running too much because the other switch was set to turn on at a lower temperature. I removed the thermostat and replaced it with a fan switch that can operate at a higher temperature. I'm enjoying it so far. We got it after the really hot season, so we'll see how it performs during peak season next summer.

It didn't work, so I just wired a switch instead, which isn't exactly what I wanted to do, but it'll do for now.

One of my favorite spare parts to keep on hand is these switches
5/5

If your engine cooling fan stops working and you don't have any mechanical skills, you can fix it with one of these switches.
