There may or may not have been a 2. 4L built for a Jeep Wrangler with a top speed of 200 mph. If it was a mistake, it should have been a 2 instead of a 1. 5L would benefit from a 195°F thermostat.

Product arrived promptly and in plain packaging. It appears to be exactly what is described on the website. In less than 20 minutes, I was able to replace my old BMR on my 2000 XJ. On the passenger side, I had to remove the kick panel and the glovebox, which required the removal of about 6 screws. It's quite simple. The old resistor was unplugged (2 screws to remove resistor from its holding place), and the new one was plugged in. The previous one had seen better days. This replacement appeared to be the same as the old one, but it was brand new. This resistor is fantastic! br>br> I'll update this post if it fails in the long run, but so far I'm very pleased, especially for the price ($19!). 45 was in high demand at local auto parts stores. I believe Tec was 24 years old at the time.
Installation on a 1997 TJ. On the passenger side, remove the kick panel (small plate, four bolt screws). Remove two bolts, use compressed air to blow out the hole, and replace with a new part. 200 With a 10, I was able to complete a $00 job in 20 minutes. I adore my TJ, which is in the 00 part. When the heat is on, avoid using the low to medium fan setting; the heat will break down the part, whereas when you use the MAX air fan setting, the circuit is designed to pass to your battery.
I bought this after my fan stopped working and my switch wires were burned out; however, after replacing all three (fan, resistor, and switch), the resistor failed, and I now have to replace it again! That is of no use!.
Only the highest setting of the blower worked. The replacement in the YouTube video (Jeep Wrangler 2000 Blower Motor Resistor) appeared to be quite simple. I removed the four 8mm screws that held the blower motor cover in place under the glove box. I took out two 8mm screws to remove the old connector and replace it with a new one. It took me about 15 minutes to replace the blower motor cover. It is also effective.
To achieve a two-speed operation, I'm using a radiator fan's fan resistor. So far, everything has gone well. Thanks.
If your blower motor burns out the circuit, you'll need this. It's simple to replace, and it's a must if you're rebuilding your system.
I'm not sure if the product was defective or if my Jeep had a problem. I returned it and received a replacement, and everything is now working properly. On this one, I'm crossing my fingers.
