I deducted a star because the vents emit a foul odor until the resister coils are burned away. It goes away after a while, but it's quite unpleasant in the meantime.
On my 1994 Civic cp, it worked flawlessly.
I installed my blower motor first, which solved the problem with my vents dying, so I didn't need to install this, but I'll keep it in case I need it in the future. I received the item promptly and in excellent condition, so that's all I have to say, but it's something:.
The resistor in this case was mounted horizontally on a plastic ledge behind the glove box. It was a simple process to replace the fan, and it now functions properly.
Please refer to the previous paragraph. For complete instructions with pictures, google "civic fan works on only 3 4. " It helps to have a philips screwdriver that isn't too long.
It worked perfectly; my old one had been busted to hell and back, so it's no surprise I needed a replacement.
