Yes. They didn't switch from analog to digital until after 2005.
I'm not sure if there was a gasket or if one was required. If one was required, it must have come with it, as I had no problems with it. I had a problem with the provided butt splice connectors in my 2011 E250 application. I had to use my own connectors because the primary power wire was too long for the ones provided. Please accept my apologies for not knowing more about the gasket. Best wishes to you.

Positions 3 and 4 were the only ones where the blower blew. On the first and second positions, no. Years have passed. It was supposed to be a 10-minute installation, but when I went to do it, I discovered that the wire connector socket was also fried. As a result, I needed to place an order for a wire connector socket. br>br>Based on my experience and what I've read, it's EXTREMELY likely that you'll also need the wire socket connector if you need to replace this. br>br>Before ordering just this part, you should remove your wire connector and inspect it; I'm sure it's fried as well.
Everything was rusted out on the inside, so I had to order the harness, splice the wires, and do the job.
I'm not sure what else to say except that this is a genuine Motorcraft part that fits and functions like it should. On the engine side of the firewall on a 2001 F250 Superduty, two bolts and a stubborn harness with two clips were used to replace it. If you have a lot of thumbs, this could be a 20-minute job. I didn't have any problems with this part, but my blower fan failed, and I wanted to replace it at the same time to avoid problems; my old one was original, and I'm hoping the new one will last as long.
Versions that are different. It took me 10 minutes to install this, and I also replaced the electric harness with it. All of the fan speeds are now working properly.
Friendly to 6L containers. Ford E250, model year 2011. The blower speed on the 6L was reduced to a medium-high setting. Without testing (I went straight for the blower switch because it had previously failed on me), welp that wasn't it, this resistor was it. Following the installation of a new plug, the blower wheel now has all four speeds.
It works great, but when you replace it, order the wire connector because the pins holes in the connector rust and the new one won't connect to the old wiring harness.
You should replace your climate control fan if it only works at full blast and not at speeds 1, 2, or 3. Without having to wait for a long time at the mechanic, this is a simple and quick fix.
Direct replacement for the stock part; however, due to the location of the air conditioning system on my Ford Excursion, it was a little difficult to obtain. However, it functions flawlessly.
