Motorcraft YH-1699 Blower Motor Resistor

It does a good job here. Usually they fail when the poorly designed heater core box and heater core blow, spewing coolant and some of it leaking down through the blower motor onto the working portion of this part. If they weren't poorly designed, they would probably last a very long time. I find these to be of better quality in terms of thermal design than most others The OEM replacements are at a small premium price. It is easier and less complex to pay a couple dollars more here, but forget about it ahead of time.

OEM parts are the best. The installation process is very simple. If possible, I replace with original equipment manufacturer parts, and I like that Motorcraft is in stock.

The quality is excellent. Describe the OEM company. The installation process is simple. That was one of the best DIY projects I've seen. This part can be replaced by yourself, and you will save a lot of money. You can get an 8mm wrench from Home Depot for 3 dollars. A wratchet makes it easier to get the job done since it's a tight spot.
