It's a solid suit
5/5

Easy to put on and great to wear. I installed this set for the very first time on my Jeep JKU and I can attest to the fact that they mount solidly. There is no ringing at all when you smack them. Although they are heavy, they're manageable and not unmanageable (the front ones weigh the most). In order to install the system, the side step (or rock sliders) needs to be removed your rear bumper must also be loosened or removed your fender flares and inner liners must be removed and the license plate mount needs to be removed. As you will probably be installing and removing these heavy chunks of steel several times, it's highly suggested that you tape the whole rear end of the Jeep from the door jam to the rear door jam by the tail gate. This will at least keep your paint from getting damaged. After that you must set these behemoths in place (I recommend either quick clamps or C-clamps You will need clamps in order to position these panels and make your rear hole markings (a transfer punch can be used to make the rear hole because you can reach it After you remove them, you should drill holes and set in your rivnuts. (The "tool" they include might work, but I'd recommend either spending $40 or $50 instead. a Rivnut/Nutsert tool) If you're wondering, the nutserts you'll be installing are M10. After the rear rivnuts are installed and set, reinstall the gears Set up the rear panel and bolts, tighten them down but not really all the way, so they push the panels forward. Get the distances between the panels near your door and at the top the way you want, then clamp them in place and mark the other holes underneath Below this line, you will not be able to use your transfer punches. In short, I took some of my touch up paint, sprayed it on a piece of scrap cardboard, dipped one of the bolts into it, put it in the hole, and ran it around the rim so that a nice paint circle appeared underneath the tape. As soon as I marked all of the top holes in this manner, I removed the panels and used a transfer punch to center the nutserts on the marks, and then drilled and set them. If you have a friend or two along with you, it isn't that hard to do. It sounds complicated, and it is pretty labor intensive, but it isn't really hard. After the panels have been installed, they can be reinstalled along with the inner fenders or Raptor Liners or something similar to the inner fender area under the panels and along any pinch seams that are visible below them. Having to cut the top of my stock license plate mount to fit under the tail light armor and having to reinstall my tail gate hinge covers, I think I will modify them later and either reinstall or just paint that section black when I get to If you have an extra pair of hands and two clamps, this is not overly difficult to install and is not difficult at all if you have an extra set of hands. You might need to adjust the license plate mount and tailgate covers, as well as possible the rear bumper for fitment. It has been shown in videos that people couldn't get one of the bolts at the bottom of the rocker panel to go in due to their steps or rock The steel is strong enough that its not being installed won't be an issue, as it will likely never fall out. My inner fenders and the sheet metal that shows through probably won't make it into the photo, but I will update with pics as soon as I do Raptor Liner.
