Is this made of what kind of steel?

Tubular steel with a thickness of 75 inches. The walls are 12" thick. On both my wife's and my jeeps, we have a set. You can wash the tops while standing on them!

What is the maximum weight (not item weight) for these?

They're bolted to the frame, and I can stand comfortably on them to wash the tops despite being over 200 pounds.

I don't believe so, given that the bolt pattern is for a 2007-2008 model. 2018 JK

These rails look great with my 2016 JKU's 37-inch tires. It took longer to unwrap these than it did to install them on the Jeep. There are six bolts on each side. br>br>They have a nice finish as well. Screw mounts chipped some powder on the back, but this had no effect on the product's integrity.
