It's the perfect fit for my 1997 Civic Coupe

I was the one who installed it. There is no requirement for grease. To install, first remove the side mirror; the channel hooks into the metal in the front corner to keep it in place.

The upper corner does not work after I had it professionally installed

The upper corner does not stay in the groove with the window, despite the fact that I had it professionally installed. It appears that there is insufficient rubber to keep the window in place (only the corner). I can hear the wind entering the crack when I'm driving down the highway.

Great product; a little difficult to install if you've never done it before, but with a little patience and attention to detail (I used the other door as a reference point), I was able to get it to work perfectly

The window operates as smoothly as it did when it was first driven off the lot in 1998! The channel run and the power window regulator/motor were replaced in just over 3 hours from start to finish.
