which reveals thicker, squared-off edges! It's made of low-cost molded plastic with thinner, rounded edges, similar to others available for half the price; additionally, the pre-drilled holes aren't as deep as those available for half the price. VERY DISAPPOINTED that the drilled holes on both pieces do not line up with the original holes on our motorhome door and side. This might work for someone else, but it isn't going to work for us! We ordered one, but it was never installed. BRAND NEW IN BOX.
I'm at a loss for words. It turned out to be exactly as I had predicted. Does what it's supposed to do and appears to be durable enough to last a few years, if not longer.
Despite the fact that the part is functional, it was a letdown. I slipped through the cracks in the wall: I was afraid it would break when it finally came out. In any case, I squandered that cash. However, I believe it will work fine for a horizontal hold back; I tried it on a vertical hold and it did not work out.
This is an excellent door stopper and holder.
SUPER FIT.
Two of the male pieces were missing from the box, which rendered it useless. It's not worth the trouble to go back.
