It's a genuine Honda part

My Honda Civic HX was equipped with a belt from 1999. That little car has been around for 22 years and is still going strong. The Civic of the sixth generation is the best Honda has ever produced. I'm not sure how else to put it. It's a Honda product, and it fits just like the Honda belt that came with the car.

In my 1998 Civic DX, it stopped the belt squeal. To account for stretch, I had to tighten the screws a few weeks after the installation. Fits exactly like the original.
