It's the original equipment manufacturer part you're looking for - It was a perfect fit for my 2010 Honda CRV, and it hasn't shown any signs of wear in the thousand miles I've driven since installing it. When you replace this, don't forget to replace the tensioner assembly as well, or your new one will be worn out as well.
As expected, the quality is excellent. As expected, it was a perfect fit. Due to the manufacturer stamping on this belt, it appears to have been made by Bando. It's also labeled 7PK1745, which indicates that it's 1745mm long. br>br>So, if you opt for an aftermarket belt instead (which I strongly advise against) - Make sure it's within a millimeter of this 1745mm length. br>br>I started with a Gates 7PK1742 belt, which I couldn't get to slip on the final pulley for the life of me. That 3mm difference, believe it or not, had a significant impact! The Honda OEM belt's material appeared to be superior as well. It was made of a soft rubber with a cloth-like texture. On the outside, it had a type appearance that made it very flexible and MUCH easier to work with. br>br>Do yourself a favor and don't make the same mistakes I did. Spend the extra money on a Honda OEM belt, which will almost never need to be replaced again in your life. My original Honda belt had more than 100,000 miles on it and was still in excellent condition! I was only replacing it for my 100K maintenance, but since I was already doing other things, I figured I might as well switch it out. br>br>I've attached a couple of photos that might be useful to others. The Gates belt and this Honda OEM belt have a significant difference.
