I believe they must be similar but slightly different planes. Both of them are about the same size. In the Sport Cub S 2, this part is not included in the motor housing HBZ4430, but in the Champ, it is included in the housing I am not sure whether the parts are actually different or not, so different model number.

It fits perfectly, one thing to note is that the original motor was glued into the holder, and the replacement is not, make sure to put a dab of glue on that too otherwise, when the motor slides back, you'll have to take it apart again. Please ask me how I know this! I love it!.

For my Champ, I bought this motor/gear box. In order to get the old one out with the least amount of foam coming with it, I had to work hard. Replacing the assembly with hot glue was easy. The plane halves were taped back together, and a test flight was conducted. Although the new assembly seemed to have a slight buzz or hum to it, it was quite noticeable. Despite my attempts, the plane would not turn when I tossed it into the air! In the process of taking it apart in the aftermath of the crash, I found that hot glue was stuck to It flew fine this time after I removed the glue. I haven't flown it since I picked up the glue, but it's still working. I have only flown her about a dozen times since I changed her Don't forget to check your flight controls before the flight.

That was a big disappointment. A search on the seller's site for parts for a Horizon Sport Cub S led to this purchase. There is a mistake in that part. While the motor is about the right size, the wiring is about one inch too short. Hence, this motor cannot be used with This is a major waste of.

An Sport Cub S cannot handle the power it needs

I give the motor five stars because it works well. As it turns out, this method failed to get my Hobby Zone Sport Cub S to fly For months, the motors for it have been out of stock. There is just not enough power for the Sport Cub S with this motor.
