The answer to that question is unknown to me. It would be best to contact Club Car about whether or not that part would Research was done so that I could make sure my cart would support it.
It is still steering flawlessly a year after I fitted it. I'm not 100% sure, but I did not let it freeze. If it comes greased, I assume it's probably good to go.

I decided to replace my worn out steering gear box after I noticed play in the steering of my 1992 Club Car while driving over bumps and potholes. The price for the new steering gear box was right, so I replaced my worn out one with this Getting the old gas pipes replaced wasn't difficult, but the job wasn't easy. The time I took probably ranged between 1 - 2 hours The whole process took me about 1 12 hours, although I had to learn how to do it as I was doing it for the first time. It was a little challenging to make sure the steering wheel was straight. The steering gear box from this part worked great for fixing my loose steering, and I certainly recommend it if yours The quality of the part was the same as it was with my original Club Car.
I strongly recommend this product as a replacement part for my club car DS. I am extremely satisfied with the results.
