This is a perfect fit for It sort of works
3/5

After I replaced the factory parts on my D140 with these ones, I installed these ones. I see it as a nice combination of parts that may as well all be swapped out when any one of them is worn My issue is to do with a single major issue. In the steering sector, the holes for the drag bars are located farther forward on this product than on the factory version. Due to this, the drag bars are placed farther forward, which causes the tires to point outwards a little. As for myself, this particular mower did not come with adjustable drag bars, so I am left with no choice but to change the bends in the drag bars for a front end alignment. ARRIVE EARLY IN ORDER TO MAKE SURE THE DRAG BARS CAN BE ADJUSTED ON YOUR MOWER.

The cost of time and money is inordinate

My husband installed these parts on his own in half a day. He is an awesome young man! Previously, he used it to cut the lawn of our 4 acre property. When he used it for the second time, he only cut one area of the yard and it stopped turning and made grinding noises. The following day, he examined it and found that the gear teeth in the pinion gear and steering sectors were ground. We bought the same set at John Deere, but he bought them at double the price at John Deere. It was obvious that the material was of good quality. No generic parts will be purchased in the future. The purpose of trying to repair it ourselves was to save money. Over the long run, we were able to save on labor costs, but not on The parts have to be repaired again by my poor husband! I learned the following A cheap price is not always a good deal.

Although one or two parts looked different from those on the tractor, after some trial and error, a good fit was found, and all went No documentation on the source of the parts was available, so it is likely they are aftermarket replacement parts

All in all I am very satisfied with the replacement parts and would certainly recommend them!.

There's a problem
3/5

The steering section gear that I ordered is not the right one for my John Deere D130 lawn I took the product off my mower and it says it is for the D130, but I took it off for a different mower model. On the bottom one, I removed a blade from I bought a comb that didn't line up with the teeth section and slot, and it was longer than the one I received. It turned out to be the right gear, but the part number was different. In general, these two numbers equal one.

I didn't last 2 weeks with the gear! As others have noted, everything fit fine

Right from the start, I noticed that my left turning radius was much wider About two weeks after the pinion gear has stripped (I use it heavily), the gear has broken. Replacement of the original JD part will be made through the purchase of an original JD part. A second time.

I got the job done. Served the purpose for which I purchased it. The settings on my D130 are a bit different from stock, but work great.
