Why not, the Alta intake doesn't have an air box to begin with.

It was a perfect match. Because of the new AEM intake, I had to replace the NM Engineering strut bar.
This is a fantastic strut bar; it makes the front end feel much more secure, and the difference is noticeable in the turns. It also gives the engine a more intimidating appearance. Miniatures require as much aggression as possible. Lol.
Installation time is 2 minutes. It's a perfect fit for the AEM intake.
It is very simple to set up. The construction is excellent and the weight is light.
Fits perfectly on my 2010 R55 Mini Cooper Clubman, and the difference is immediately noticeable on the road.
I got exactly what I wanted.
The 2013 Mini S is a good fit. The red is also very appealing. Around the aem intake, it also looks and fits perfectly.
It's very easy to set up. Under the hood, particularly with the AEM air intake, it looks fantastic. I would give it a 10/10.
