NOTE: This item does not fit the V6, 4-cylinder turbo, or the ZL1. With a twin-tube Strut Tower Brace from BMR Suspension, you can reduce chassis flex while improving handling and performance on your 2016-newer Chevrolet Camaro. Even with low torque and horsepower, the Camaro chassis flexes a lot. Strut Tower Braces are made of a combination of 1-inch DOM steel tubing and laser-cut 3/16-inch steel plate by BMR. The front frame and suspension gain a lot of strength as a result of this design. These are the Strut.

Is this part compatible with a Camaro 2SS from 2018?

This was purchased for a 2016 2SS, but I haven't had the opportunity to install it yet. I honestly have no idea if it will fit the 2016, but it should. I'd ask my dealer for advice. In addition, delivery took three weeks longer than expected.

Installing it was a breeze

It'll take you about 15 minutes to complete. I ordered this upgrade purely because I thought it would complement the engine's appearance when I opened the hood, but what I've noticed now that it's been installed is that the car rides much smoother over the city's numerous bumps and potholes. When I turn into my driveway, it also doesn't flex and make that low but audible titanic noise. I'm not a Trackster, but I believe this would significantly reduce the time it takes you to complete a lap.

It's a seatbelt for the engine to keep all that power in place

Installing with two people ensures that nothing is scratched. Underneath the bar, place washers. Using a 13mm screwdriver, tighten the screws. Finished in ten minutes.
