After installing this, the car is much more stable. Because shock tower braces are listed with some Subaru models, I wanted them as an option if I bought a new Subaru. Because I ordered and installed it shortly after purchasing the car, I am unable to provide "before and after" driving impressions, only the after. In town and on the highway, the car drives well and is very stable, which is a plus. It was a breeze to put together and the fit was perfect. I'm glad I have it now. I discovered 14 of them. 5 ft lbs. as specified by the shock tower nut torque specification.
It's extremely simple to set up. It was a perfect fit for my 2015 3. Outback, model 6R The body roll has been reduced, and the steering response has been enhanced. 5i 2018. Installation time is only 5 minutes, with a torque of 14 lb-ft. It was enough to be 5 ft lbs. When driving at highway speeds, I noticed that the front was more responsive and had less body roll. This, along with a 19mm rear sway bar, is recommended for less body roll and tail wiggle at highway speeds.
