am not familiar with the Jeep CL hood, but I can tell you that it will hold my Chrysler 300 hood without issue. I haven't figured out how to lengthen it yet, but it works ok as it is and it is also on the heavy side.

My Japanese sedan has worn-out the front suspension, so I use this to maintain it These struts hold up the hood. The rubber ends hold it in place, and the shaft is durable. Since it is the only thing protecting my head from the hood, I am comfortable working with it. To open the hood, I start with the shortest length and extend it out to the fullest extent possible. felt like the price could be lower, but I could not find alternatives that were cheaper.
In addition, the factory plungers are known to break and there is little warning until the plunger falls, so if you have to work under your hood for any length of time, a mechanical arm is recommended, just as a Jack Stand is a good precaution.
Definitely worth adding to your tool box, as the only disadvantage I see for the future is that the base length is too long, but that is only a problem if you use it for more than.
The product works as intended - The contract has no binding effect. The trunk is mostly used for trunk support. I got tired of having the trunk hit my melon-shaped roof when the wind blew through. Insurance at a low price.
The price is very reasonable for this product.
Using this prop makes things much easier on those European foreign vehicles for which the owners can't afford lift supports costing $60 per side.
He holds up his hood. I can throw it into the back of my car wherever I go. The lengths will be adjusted for you, so you should not need to worry about it. There is a black design and not a red one. If you are stuck in a rut you can use this as a bat or pool stick. Whenever I show that to someone, they ask, "What the heck is that?"? As a result of sitting on it accidentally, it made a loud noise.
A very nice piece of work. On the hood of my classic car I use it as a prop. The product is well made, and it is heavier than ever - Unlike I expected, I have a lot of duties. A little nicer than my vehicle but still not too gaudy.
