Questions & Answers

Is this, or the 4000, suitable for my 2015 Keystone Bullet's wide spread (2 3500 lb dexter) axles?

These two models appear to be limited to wheelbases of 33" or 35". They are approximately 5 inches in diameter. 75" or 7. 75" from one end of the spring mounting hole to the other. To determine the distance between your spring mounting holes, measure your current equalizer bar. Only Lippert, I believe, offers a "wide Trac" or "spread axel" equalizer at the moment. It is approximately 14 inches in length. The spring mounting holes are spaced at a distance of 5" between them.

There is a 7" spread on the current equalizer. Would this suffice as a substitute?

The fit is determined by the length of your wheel base. On your wheels, take a measurement from center to center. These will fit if the length is 35 inches.

How much will the trailer be raised as a result of this?

I increased the height of my imagine 2800BH by 3/4 inch. Plus, the ride is a lot more enjoyable!

I'm glad I went through with it
5/5

In a nutshell, I purchased this. I installed it on my own. I was able to make it through the ordeal. I'm glad I went through with it. If you're looking for a lot of information, this is the place to go. Continue reading to learn more. Please take note of the following: br>br>PLEASE NOTE: I'm referring to parts that come with MORryde's shackle kit, not the CRE3000 alone, in the following paragraphs. Don't expect to be able to accomplish everything I've described below with just the CRE3000. br>br>I made the decision to upgrade the suspension on my 2006 26' travel trailer on the spur of the moment. Myself. In my driveway, to be precise. I've never attempted anything similar before, but how difficult could it possibly be? br>br>So, without telling my wife about my grand plan to convert our driveway into an RV maintenance yard, I ordered the CRE3000 and decided to upgrade the shackles as well with the MORryde heavy duty shackle kit (since I'd be removing the wheels and rusty bolts anyway). I believe it is called "wet" because it can be lubricated. ( .

Suspension Components that are well-made
5/5

On a brand new travel trailer, I used these equalizers to replace the factory-installed metal equalizer. To replace the thin OEM Lippert shackles that came with the trailer, I chose to install a MorRyde wet bolt and shackle kit. br>br>Installation was simple; I was able to replace the equalizer and suspension components on one side of the trailer while the other remained on the ground. On the jacked-up side, make sure you're using good safety stands. br>br>If you're replacing bushings and other suspension parts, start with the end of the springs and work your way up to the equalizer. This will make things a lot easier for you. Another suggestion is to have wooden blocks or jacks on hand to support each axle while the components are being disassembled. Overall, replacing the bushings, bolts, shackles, and equalizer took me about three hours per side. Greasing the wet bolts was also a part of it. We towed the rig for a few hundred miles after the job was finished. The ride was smooth, and there was no noise, which is typical of OEM suspension components. Please keep in mind that these equalizers contain rubber components, so they will most likely wear out and need to be replaced at some point in the future. What's more, MorRyde includes specific instructions on how to inspect the parts for wear in the instructions. br>br>I've included a photo of the parts after they've been installed. These are parts I would buy again.

It was well worth the money
5/5

I intend to keep this RV for at least ten years and wanted to do something to reduce road shock and improve the camper's travel ride. I have a Jay flight 29BHDH from 2019 that I would like to sell. We had our previous camper for seven seasons and drove it about 3000 miles per year. These campers, as well as the contents inside, are subjected to a great deal of abuse while being towed down the road. After watching a few YouTube videos, I decided to buy the suspension, wet bolts, and X Factor crossmember for $400. We just returned from Michigan, where we pulled the camper about 800 miles, and it took us about three hours with two people. Going over bumps and dips, the camper is more stable. I decided on the 3000 because I thought the 4000 was too expensive for my size camper. This system, in my opinion, is ideal for campers weighing less than 10,000 pounds, but that is just my opinion. There's no way to compare it to what you'd get in a factory. Two cast-iron equalizers, plastic bushings, and that's it for the factory set-up. You can grease the wet bolts, which I believe come with brass bushings, and the solid equalizer, which has a rubber bushing to absorb road shock.

a bolt as a preventative measure, a heavy-duty shackle kit Upgrade to a 30-foot boat immediately. The suspension on a foot travel trailer was replaced after previous problems with problems caused by cheap plastic bushings and greaseless bolts used by many trailer manufacturers. The delivery was quick, and the self-installation went smoothly thanks to a few on-site helpers. video tutorials on the internet If you're going to the trouble of putting this kit together, make sure to include the UO12- Wet bolt kit for the 016 Heavy Duty Shackle Upgrade. This appears to be a well-researched topic. well-designed and constructed produced by hand The only way to find out is to wait.

The bounce is reduced
5/5

My Reflection travel trailer, which I purchased in 2018, was upgraded. With the Morryde equalizers installed, the unit bounces a lot less. If you're going to upgrade, use bronze bushings and wet bolts.

With towing, there has been a significant improvement
5/5

I bought a three-year-old travel trailer that swayed and was a pain to tow in general. Yes, I've double-checked that the trailer, truck, and hitch are all under their maximum weight limits, and that the weight distribution is correct. The MORryde and wet bolt kit replaced the equalizer, and it made a huge difference. It tows properly, does not sway, and does not buck. This was money well spent.
