The set includes everything I bought for it including all the extra parts. It is loud but feels great when it is played in high volume
It is my pleasure to answer! The 2017 WRX is not compatible with this. I'm grateful for your decision to work with
There is no guarantee that it will fit a 2015 FR-S If it has a 6MT, it would be an S or BRZ. Despite its tight fit, the shift carrier literally snaps into place once it's in place. It takes some strength to pop the shift carrier into place at finger length. It has improved the shifting feel considerably, so this mod is worthwhile. We have not noticed any increases in noise or other unwelcome

Others in the community suggested it to me, so I bought it as soon as I could. Although I removed more than specified, I was able to complete the installation relatively quickly considering there was other work to do. Even though the new part is not all that different from the worn out stock part that had 60k miles on it, its slightly tighter and a bit better feeling. If you're already under the car, I wouldn't climb under the car just for this mod. However, if you're already down there, this mod is worth about what it costs.
Just a ratchet and an inch socket wrench will suffice. I can definitely feel a difference but I also mounted the Whiteline transmission cradle mount as well. I just took delivery of this car since it was newly released and with those features as well as motul transmission fluid it is easily the best transmission I have ever driven.
Install these upgrades with awareness that you will hear a lot of transmission noise so you can feel more positive and it will feel better for a while, but I would only use it on track cars since it is.
Time and effort were totally worth it. Compared to Motul 300 which I put in my transmission 10,000 miles ago, the difference is greater. The Scion FRS I have is a 2015.
Boosts the shift feel while removing a lot of the "sloppiness" and "softness" of factory gear shifts. This adds some feedback noise, but it is to be expected since more rigid parts tend to be noisier.
This will be especially noticeable if you do not have many mods installed. When you shift into gear, the shifter tends to go into gear more quickly and return back to neutral more quickly. In the near future, I hope to add MTEC shifter springs.
The shifter seems to be an old design or a different part. It doesn't seem to be the same as the picture of the listing, and it's far looser than stock oem bushings. While it would probably be better than using a worn out bushing, there's about an inch of play about double that of the oem bushing.
The price seems high for what you get. The majority of short shifters are already equipped with a replacement.
