Questions & Answers

How big of an opening does this have for the sludge line?

In case you own a 03 or 04 It will fit the steering box of an 08 Dodge Ram 3500 or 2500 4x4 with a lift of 0-3 inches.

What is the fitment of this pitman arm for a 2002 GMC Savana Does the engine have zero horsepower?

Obviously, I cannot provide an answer to this, but I do know it is a direct replacement for an OEM Pitman Arm for a Dodge Ram 2500 4X4. This version is more robust than the OEM version, thus stiffer.

This pitman arm was made by Ford and was designed for the Ram 2500 2002 model. I'm going to install the upgraded "t" style linkage on my truck and want to know if I'll need this part. ?

With this pitman arm, I can mount a 5 on my 06 2500 4X4. Quite simply, you need it if you want everything to line Installation of a new arm is difficult because getting the old one off is the hardest part. There is a very small space between the steering box and pitman arm, so a regular puller will not operate. A 4" grinder was used to grind my puller and a second one was needed because the first

A 06 Ram was converted to a "T" steering system
5/5

I installed this on my 06 Ram 2500 and it matches up with the T style links Y-linkage should not be used with stock Do not use Y links at all, they are a horrible design that I think is unsafe.

This product is not compatible with CUMMINS 2001 second generation
4/5

The hole is too large. For my 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel, I purchased this part along with the entire upgraded 3rd gen "T-" The next time I go for a corner, I'll have "style" steering so that I can do the 4th generation steering swap. My new pitman arm is too large to fit snugly on the steering box splined shaft after I removed the stock pitman arm and correctly installed this new pitman arm. Unless there was a rework on it, I don't believe this Pitman Arm was made for the 2001 model Ram. Right now I am able to get by with a 2nd gen pitman arm mounted on the 3rd gen steering, but I would rather have a pitman arm with the correct angle and a smaller diameter. I would like to hear from anyone who knows of one. Thank you for your support.

There were several reasons why I bought this There is no reproduction here - it is genuine Mopar
5/5

There were several reasons why I bought this It was genuine Mopar, it was $25 less than what the dealer wanted, it was needed for the steering upgrade, and i had to replace my gearbox at the same time, so I cut it in half with a torch so I wouldn't have to fight with The shipper sent the product promptly, and the part did not seem rusted as some had said. It was an easy fit and I would definitely buy it again if need be.

A Pitman arm replacement is required with a Ram 2500 HD after an upgrade of the steering linkage
5/5

As advertised, the part works as it should. The installation was easy, but it should have a top that is visible on the side that goes up to give the novice mechanic some sense of assurance. Everything worked out in the end.
