Fit my 04 2500 HD, but not my 03 2500 HD. There are four flat spots on this pitman arm, compared to mine which had three.
No, it fits the year Yukon XL 1500 and 2500 models from 2006
I don't know. I have a 2007 Silverado 2500HD, and when I took my OEM arm off to compare, I found that I have a "three", not a 4-groove arm. had ordered the wrong part, and I had to turn around and order the correct one instead, as the appropriate one has not yet arrived and my truck is now down until that comes in. There is a part chart for HD's which state they will fit HD's such as mine which are the same from the 03 to the 07 cat eye classic body style. Also, I believe the same holds true for the Sierras. Part #ACDelco 45C0075 Professional Pitman Arm was chosen for me. Please accept my thanks, and I hope this helps you rather than having to deal with the issue I am dealing with.
Fortunately, mine fits perfectly in its original spot. The Yukon XL 2WD is a 2005 model.

There is no better way to fly than AC Delco Professional. It is possible to find the idler mount, arm, and pitman arm in the ACDelco Advantage line for about $60 more than the equivalent parts in the ACDelco Professional line, but the latter are more robust. A GMT 800 truck driver works for the company. We strongly recommend the OTC 6496 Close Quarters Pitman Arm Puller for Trucks and SUVs due to the unique frame of these vehicles Your $60 puller may prove to be the greatest investment you will ever make. My truck now rides much smoother at highway speeds thanks to this new idler and pitman arm! In addition to minimizing tire wear, the old idler and pitman arms caused the truck to wear out quickly. As a result, I used Mystik JT-07 There are six high-fives Temperature at which lithium is consumed It is important to lubricate all of the ball joints and tie rods with special grease. They list it as a chassis grease, but it's a high temperature grease for wheel bearings and it's cheap (they do refer to it as such).
For the most part, I went all Moog when I rebuilt the steering on my 2001 Suburban. A number of reports have been received stating that Moog cannot seat on or engage with the steering box splined shaft far enough. I'm happy to report that the AC/DC pro pitman fits perfectly, but it is still a bit weak, even compared to the original (see photos). The ACD Made in Taiwan label. I hope this will stand the test of time.
Duralast is usually something I avoid, but I did have to choose between the two this time. The AC Delco pitman was smaller than the stock pitman. I'm pleased with my 2006 Duramax 6's performance so far. 3L 2500 6L.
The part seems sturdy and well constructed. It should last for a long time. Despite buying a Detroit Diesel front end kit, which lasted less than 5k miles, I made the mistake of buying a cheaper one! I should have purchased OEM quality from the get-go and saved myself a lot of time and headache in the long run, instead of buying aftermarket parts twice! I have learned a valuable lesson! In addition, it fits the splines nicely when it's torqued correctly, and if the threads are protruding past the nut, it works just like the original! A torque of 186 ft/lb was applied.
In order to try Moog, I downloaded it. This is what Proforged looked like to me. As both were cast from the same material, they did not sit up to sector shaft splines the same way as the stock pitman arm does. Incorrect alignment of the drag/center link is not acceptable, as it can cause alignment problems as well as bump steer issues, particularly with We were able to resolve the issue this way. This Moog is a little leaner/less beefy than Proforged and Moog, which is why I bought those first, but it should work.
190k miles on my nearly 20 year old truck and a rebuild of the front suspension make the truck drive like new. This truck is just as enjoyable to drive with a set of Cooper Tires on it. As I prepare for my month-long cross-country trip to see the west towed by my small 20' travel trailer, I am working on fixing a few things.
There are some differences between OEM and aftermarket. After reading poor reviews for the Moog brand on this part, I decided to go with it regardless. It wasn't the same beefy pitman arm as the one off my Tahoe, but it was close enough. A nice, stiff steering system appears to be in place.
My installation was completed early sept 2020, so I am waiting to see how it holds up. Fit like a glove with no issues. Now that the pitman arm fits the gearbox and crossover bar as it should, everything is working properly. As soon as I installed it and greased it, I added plastic grease points caps I had bought from Amazon to cover up the grease points.
