It worked perfectly on my 2003 Surberbqan 2WD 6 lug 1/2 ton, so I'd say yes, it will fit!

Doubt it. It is a perfect fit for my Suburban 1500 from 2004. A 2500HD should have more heavy-duty components, in my opinion.

My suburban z71 from 2006 fit perfectly. So this ought to work.

My 2003 Silverado 1500 HD was not able to use it because it was too big. For compatibility with the steering motor, this one has four smooth teeth. Three of them are in my truck. It didn't make sense. It should fit, according to the Amazon description. Before ordering, double-check your current one.
