Questions & Answers
You should go with the 7226 springs. The 7226S spring is already stiffer, and a 2" spacer would make for a bumpy ride; however, you could use a 7226 spacer to achieve the same height as the 7226s spring. The rear suspension will not be affected.

These were also purchased for my d250, which was sagging. Diesel engine from 1993. I've always despised the fact that my front end was so much lower than my back end. brakes are extremely difficult to use. not safe. It got to the point where my center link was rubbing against the frame. I read a lot of articles about how to improve the front end. Because the heavy Cummins engine causes the original springs to sag, some people thought 7226s would be too "tough. " not true! They were just put on by me. The width of my front end increased by two inches. It's also smooth to ride. The steering is better - (This was partly due to worn ball joints in the lower control arms. ) I wish I had done this ten years ago when I first became frustrated with the low front end. br>br>I wish I had done this ten years ago when I first became frustrated with the low front end. The truck travels in a level and nimble manner. This is a fantastic spring. It's something I'd do to any Dodge diesel with a sagging problem.
My truck was not lifted in any way. My truck's ride became extremely unpleasant as a result of this. After reading the reviews and watching the YouTube videos, I thought it would be fantastic. I was completely wrong; it was the most inefficient use of funds ever. Put a coil space on the old springs for lift and you'll have a good ride.
My 1991 Dodge D350 Cummins has been installed. These items are built to last. My 1991 Dodge D350 Cummins has been installed. Getting into them was a challenge. A 2" coil spacer was also added. It added about 6 inches of lift in the front with new springs and the coils spacer to level out the truck. My front end was starting to sag. The distance between the ground and the fender well on the truck is exactly 36 inches.
When used in conjunction with the moog spring isolators, this spring will help level out the front end of your first-generation Cummins. From now on, these will be my go-to recipes!.
These springs came out of a 1991 Dodge D350 with a Cummins engine. The truck is perfectly positioned on the ground. Installing it was a breeze.
Rides well for a heavy-duty spring. I brought my D- with me. They were installed by a local shop at a cost of $250 up 2 1/2". Normally, I'm a do-it-yourselfer, but this time. Working with larger springs can be a little intimidating.
The moog spring seat bushings were used to complete the installation.
I bought these springs to install in an 87 Ram 150, which isn't the right vehicle for the job. I needed some stiff springs after doing a large block swap. These are for people who are 89 years old and older. The 150 could not handle the 93 350 Cummins diesel. If you didn't have a super spring compressor, they wouldn't fit. I'm afraid the ball joints would blow out, but I've heard they're fantastic for diesels!.
