What I was looking for

I purchased the Air Lift for my Jeep JL after experiencing suspension bottoming out while towing my small pop up tent trailer and out on the trail. I talked to my local 4wd shop about getting upgraded springs, but they said they'd only be slightly stiffer than stock and wouldn't solve my problem. Moreover, the cost of purchasing and installing it would be several hundred dollars. So I went on the internet to do some more research and came across the Air Lifts. I watched a few YouTube videos about the installation and outcomes. This appeared to be the answer I needed. br>br>Had them installed by my 4wd shop so I wouldn't have to roll around on the ground with the Jeep on jack stands. For those of you who have the ability and desire to install it yourself, I was charged an hour of shop time. br>br>As for the outcomes, I couldn't be happier. The stiffness can be changed from 5 to 10. Pressure of 30 lbs. The suspension squat was alleviated and the bottoming out was completely eliminated at 15 pounds with the trailer. The manufacturer suggests that they be kept at a weight of at least 5 pounds. The trail has now bottomed out due to the amount of pressure applied. The durability of the product has yet to be determined, but with a lifetime warranty, there should be no concerns. I would recommend 100% if you are looking to solve similar issues.

Do you need to tow a trailer with your Jeep? This is extremely useful, and you can deflate them when you are not towing. Installing it was a breeze. It's something that even the son-in-law could do.
