Are these coil springs of a specific size?

They were a perfect fit for my Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo from the year 2001. height of the stock

Is painting these coil springs a good idea?

I don't see why not, but under pressure, everything would crack, chip, and flake away. It would have to be a specific type of paint, such as Plasti spray or something similar.

Perfect for a Kia Sorento that has been lifted

On the back of my 2008 Kia Sorento, I have these installed. They look great with the 2" front lift. The spring is MUCH stronger than the OE spring, but it rides much smoother.
