It's a single piece of equipment. However, when I received this for my Chevy Blazer 98 2WD, I was informed that I needed to use a different one.
Normally, you only put one on each spring (bottom), but this "kit" only comes with one:

As mentioned in a previous review, these insulators do not work as lower coil insulators. The inside diameter is too small to fit into the lower control arm's coil seat properly. Even if you tape it in place during installation (as suggested), the insulator will eventually fall out of place as the coil moves around while driving, especially over bumps, uneven surfaces, or off road. br>I believe this is why the lower insulator was removed from the 99-model. Trucks from the 1500 series from 2006. However, I wanted to help protect my lower control arms, which I recently had replaced because the original LCA were cracked at the coil seat (not sure if this is normal/expected on a 20-year-old truck). The original lower insulators (coiled/slotted rubber that fit over the coils) were nowhere to be found.
Fit perfectly on top of the front springs on my 2000 Silverado. My squeaking came to a halt as a result of this.
The barrier between these and the frame, I believe, will be significant.
When I saw the design of my truck's two front coil springs, I decided to order four of these ACDelco insulators to see if they would fit both the top and bottom of the coil springs. That's correct. I hope this helps to keep the annoying squeaking at bay while driving.
When I replaced the front springs on my 2000 Sierra, I bought these to go with them. When I removed the old ones, they appeared to be in good condition, but after 18 years, I decided to replace them. br>They don't cover the top of the spring like the originals, but they work for me because I don't hear any noises.
The thickness is 25 inches. The picture shows a Moog 5662 spring. It's ideal for all four corners of the 82-square-foot house. 92 F- Firebird (Body) Camaro).
However, the description made it sound like it was for regular coil springs when it was actually for struts, which Amazon took care of.
