Jeeps should come with this style of track bar as standard equipment. Because the stock bar is poorly designed, it poses a serious safety issue. For a week or so, I used the bar without lifting it and I saw a bit of The leveling kit helped and the machine is now in perfect working order. Purchase the Teraflex model if you do not intend to lift, as it has a much more pronounced curve where the track bar crosses over As I was installing the system, I went to Lowe's and bought bolts that were half/course thread, grade 8. To keep it in place, use red loctite and torque it to 125lbs. *I really do not like the jam nut design, and you will need medium strength thread locker to keep it tight. A large adjustable plier should be used to tighten it. My commute no longer involves driving down the Saw Mill Parkway in NY, the 684, or any other highway and worrying about Buying one for those with a slight lift is a great idea!.
had wobble problems with my Jeep Wrangler JK Sport 2009 and with this track bar and a new Fox steering stabilizer, I was able to resolve all those issues. This track bar is a high quality product that installs very easily. As it replaces the factory flex track bar, this upgrade will result in better handling because it tends not to flex too much over time and make steering more accurate and precise. I would also do this upgrade with a new Fox steering stabilizer, since the Fox unit takes advantage of the track bar mounting point and comes with a new track bar bolt to replace the factory bolt that comes stock.

The JK has been upgraded in a great way. We lifted ours and found that the front axle was detached. The problem has been fixed as a result of adding this. I like this because we can do further adjustments with this rather than buying a new one when we get higher up the road. We took off the factory bar, but this one feels a lot thicker and bulkier. A perfect five would be given in all categories, but you have to disconnect the lower end of the bar to make it adjustable. It replaces the OE part very well. I'd likely look for one that can be adjusted on the vehicle if I had to buy another one in the future.
We were surprised at how thick the tubing was. Neither this nor the JKS drop brackets were really necessary for my A 5" spacer lift won't be necessary for my current plans, but I'll need it in the future anyway, so I shouldn't skimp on.
