The part is not compatible with my 1995 5. I received an Amazon reply telling me so. There's no way this part would fit if you're a 0. Rockauto agreed. It fitted and had an extended hole so I could adjust the voltage to meet specifications. Bought from Amazon and yes, it fits.
The V8 5 can be used. There are 8 TPS TH44 in the 85-95 range
After doing some research, I found out that it works on a 93 5 as well. Engine with a displacement of 8 liters
Selected User Reviews For Motorcraft CX1228 Throttle Position Sensor
It was a 1995 F150 302 that only illuminated the "Check Engine" light a few minutes after starting There are times when it blinks, and other times when it is I didn't encounter too many "hiccups" during operation of the truck, but it gave reasonable mileage and ran fairly smoothly most of the time. A local auto parts store part replaced the throttle position sensor (TPS) for my car about 16 months ago. I have a handy ODB-type thingy With a diagnostic scanner, it is more convenient to read codes through the instrument cluster rather than counting blinks. I read 121 for the current test and 122 and 125 in the stored memory faults, indicating a problem with the TPS. Even the TPS malfunctioning once in a while can cause the check engine light to flash or cause the throttle to behave strangely every once in a while, with a buck on deceleration or a jerk when you crank the throttle. After I checked out the old switch and wires, I found that they were broken and disconnected. Despite tapping on the throttle body, the throttle body passed the factory tests with an ohm meter. On the old switch, there was neither coolant nor oil. There was an occasional contact fault in the old switch that only manifested after a few drives. As long as the switch is installed properly, it cannot be adjusted. A throttle body must be removed for this switch to be properly mounted. The switch mounts in one correct position. Do the job with a throttle body gasket (you need one). For this time, I bit the bullet and bought a Motorcraft TPS, which appears to be the exact same one as the original We no longer have the check engine light on. I was very pleased with the way the truck ran even better than it already did. I'll post back here and deduct stars if this part fails before 100,000 miles, like before 100,000 miles. At the same time, the 23 year old truck marches towards its next 1/4 million mile milestone. It sure would have been nice for my truck to be brand new, I would buy one so I could take better care of it than the previous.
Perhaps 30 minutes were required for the installation. In addition, I found a solution to my problem. The 95th century I have a 2015 F150 with 5 doors. The 0 had trouble with high idle while caught up in traffic and stopped. Mechanic said that I wrecked it in snow because the rear wheels were still pushing forward even though I had my foot on the brake (slid 30 yards into intersection). Also, the transmission would not shift out of the first gear until I let off the accelerator pedal. Because both issues emerged at around the same time, it was only logical they would be connected. Low voltage was reported as the cause of the TPS trouble code. I would say that it's the best $40 on Amazon I've ever spent.
This part number does not fit a 95 F150 5. There is information on Amazon's page to corroborate this claim. A 0 does not exist, but it does exist in fact. Prior to purchasing, I checked Rockauto for the part number. It felt as if a weird hesitation was present at idle (felt just like a miss) only when driving or in reverse (idling in park was fine). 121 got as a result of running codes (no check engine light was on, for your info) which is the TPS sensor low voltage/high voltage are both closed. I bought this sensor and set it up The closed resistance is 9V and the open resistance is At wide open, the voltage is 5 volts. So far, the issue has been resolved.
It was the same issue for me. We were told that it should be 350 ohms at full output. There were about 700 people at the time. It might've worked close to the close, but I decided to add a few seconds with a file to the closed position to get the WOT resistance value My overall opinion is that I'm somewhat disappointed with the quality of this sensor, but the Duralast sensor I had before was even worse, so I'll take it for what it is.
There is only one reason I purchased this TPS, and there is only one reason to purchase it. This is because Motorcraft is written there. As a result, I received an aftermarket part within a Motorcraft box. I am not happy because I could have spent less money on the one I bought at the local In addition, it didn't last more It took me 50 miles to recover, but my surging has returned. Upon checking the voltage on the TPS, I found it to be A 990 volt battery. As far as I can tell, everything is going well. My throttle body did not show any voltage until I opened it up to measure it. Voltage losses are halved when throttling down. About 2 to 3 should have been the time. This charger has a 5 volt output. Not even a single zero for me. I received a "OEM part" on Amazon that had a short in it. I will never buy an "OEM part" from Amazon For my 1989 Ford Bronco 5, I used this sensor.
Returned my 1995 Ford to service by clearing the check engine light My computer runs great now that I've upgraded to 150. Ensure you do not discard the plastic bushing from your old sensor, you will need it to replace your new one.
My 94 Ford F150, 5. 0L, has been operating with this throttle position sensor for the past 6 months without a problem. I have not been able to find any V8s. Transmissions are smooth and shifting is like new after using this product. I appreciate your kind words.
My $ went to waste in an effort to save money. It has never worked at all! It is a total waste of money!.
