What if my 2012 Chevrolet Sonic has this problem? Would you mind if I thanked ?

In 2001, I installed this part on my Oldsmobile Alero. There are 4 versions of 6. An enormous amount of time has passed since then. Upon searching on Amazon, you will be asked to fill out your vehicle information to check if this part Thank you for your interest. I regret not being able to help more. I wish you the best of

What is the likelihood of this resolving an irratically occurring idle/random stallout? What do you do if you replaced the spider, MAF, and all other ignition and fuel components and the idle still is bad?

It would only make sense to ask if there are any trouble codes present that will indicate if a certain sensor does not work For driving diagnostics, I have a scan tool that provides detailed data and live data that can be connected to a laptop for monitoring. In case you do not have one of those places Autozone will connect a scan tool to your OBD2 diagnostic port and give you at least the basic information of what troubles codes have been This test is not a sure-fire way to diagnose an engine problem, but at least it's a good place to start. The Idle Air Control valve is a plunger that controls the amount of air that enters the engine when it's idling. Breaking or wearing out these components can result in too slow of a response or incorrect response amount, and this is certainly something There are a number of relatively inexpensive IACs that can be installed in the throttle body quite easily. Also relatively inexpensive and easy to replace, the TPS allows for easy use and monitoring. For additional maintenance I spray a can of specialised MAF sensor cleaner in the area it monitors the air coming in, as part of general routine maintenance. I suggest you do this regardless of what else you find since it is so cheap and easy to do and even a small amount of contamination can lead to Unless you find the one causing the problem, I do not subscribe to changing parts until you find the one that is causing the problem. I don't know. The manuals I get are from the factory. I don't get them from Chilton or Haynes. In one hour you would have saved enough to pay for just one hour of shop labor with just one of these manuals, which are packed with detailed information and troubleshooting. They are usually about $50 for a used one in good condition. Depending on the age of the vehicle, newer manuals may not be in print form but instead accessible via computer. My sincere hope is that you were able to figure

I'd like to know how your ACDELCO 213-Is going. Can the 912 TPS sensor (buyers only) stand the test of time?

Those wires were bare and touching each other, so you should check the harness for bare wires at the TPS plug of that '98 trans. This trans doesn't see too much use, so I just don't drive it that much.

This TPS is for What do you know about the 7 Chevy Tahoe?

I have a 98 Camaro LS1 5 with this part and it works well. An electric motor with 7 liters.

I like it
4/5

Installed a new factory one on my 2000 Silverado 4 and replaced the original. A V6 is 3 in number. They appear almost identical in this photo, but it is a photo of the old one. While the AC is not stamped on the top of the new unit, all other characters are the same, including the patent number. It takes less than 10 minutes to replace them if you're in a rush. For this project, we used a 1/4" drive ratchet, a bit for a T20 screwdriver, and an adapter to connect them. Use a flexible screwdriver to remove the old one you don't have to pull it out or pry it off. You can jiggle it out with your hand, no need to use any tools. You do not want to There are none included with this one.

I am extremely happy with this product
4/5

It fits my almost obsolete throttle body very well. The 1999 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE 5 sat perfectly with this kit. Nevertheless, the computer must be reset to get the throttle position to appear at idle after a tune up for the 3L engine. Upon completion of my refurb project, I will be able to do that on a dyno designed for four-wheel drive vehicles.

I found this method to be very effective
5/5

My 1987 Porsche 944S has been fitted with a custom mount and an aftermarket ECU, and it works fantastic. My car was never designed for this type of TPS, so I cannot get into whether or not the product fits (though I did accept it as part of my installation). I am achieving excellent tuning results due to a clear signal. I recommend you take this with a grain of salt This TPS works with most aftermarket ECU systems since it uses a 3 pin variable potentiometer. Thus, if you're here looking for a model that fits that criteria, then this model could be right Although you'll likely need to make your own mount, you can do it with some help from the internet.

Thanks a lot
5/5

I was able to do this. It was causing me performance problems, and though I used an after market TPS, the issue still persisted. After installing this AcDelco TPS, many of the issues are gone and the system is much more responsive. The part I recommend the most is this one.

This is a simple I had my 2001 Malibu repaired
5/5

This is very simple to install. All you will need is a torx driver and some hand tools. If you have come to this page to make a purchase, you most likely have these tools. There would be some erratic speeding or slowing of the car. My engine was racing one day while I was stopped, so I had to shift into neutral. You can tell you have the right part if you see the tachometer rise and fall as you drive down a level highway with the throttle steady.

My 2000 Jimmy runs like new again with this kit
5/5

While accelerating, I experienced a flat spot, and my speed was a bit slow when I was I am now able to run it smoothly. The shot was not missed, and the hesitation was not present. This is actually a smoother shift. Easy to install, but a bit challenging to set up. In order to get access to the bottom screw, the upper radiator hose had to be removed. While removing the radiator hose, I also had to drain a little antifreeze from the hose when I removed all of the air intake apparatus.

I love this product and it does a great job
5/5

After 25 years, the original Throttle Position Sensor on my 1996 Beretta had not been replaced. During driving it gave performance problems. It was like a dead space in the speed of the car at times. I found out later that sensors in this vehicle need to be replaced every 80,000 miles, and I was well past that mileage mark. With the new sensor installed, all the problems have been resolved. Like a brand new car, it runs smoothly. The sensor is a pain to remove since the bolt at the bottom is so tight. Be patient and steady with your fingers as you remove the sensor.

I really like how this works
5/5

Part made by AcDelco that works brilliantly, without a hitch. Install the alternator or throttle body on a 3 engine by removing the alternator or throttle body. The easiest way to deal with this was to unbolt the TB and tie up the coolant hoses to prevent coolant leaks. Once the hoses and throttle body are installed, the throttle body needs to be reinstalled.
