This is for a Jeep Cherokee 96' country. I bought the same part a year and a half ago. My Jeep was in fantastic condition! They do differ, to be sure. Style with three prongs. I recommend avoiding aftermarket tps when purchasing one for your Jeep. It would not last long, in my opinion, or it would run erratically. Yes, genuine parts are costly, but they are well worth the investment.
It must be a complete inyección.
Check the return policy and make sure the TPS isn't bad if the part number and resistance value are the same. It's also possible that the problem is caused by an iac valve.
Yes, and it includes a gasket and an o-ring. I'm not sure how long I've had it, but it's been a long time.

I was very disappointed to receive this low-cost part masquerading as an OEM Mopar part! The package arrived half-opened, with a sticker attempting to conceal the fact that it was open holding it together. (See photo) The seller's photos show an actual Mopar sensor, but what you get is quite different. There are a couple of dead giveaways in the pictures I've provided; 1. br>br> The OEM Mopar's Red O ring only goes around the throttle shaft, not inside with the 6 rectangular slots. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br The bolt hole sleeves are silver, not brass, as on the OEM Mopar. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. Bolts are silver with red loctite, not black with yellow loctite, as on the original Mopar. 4. br>br> Instead of being engraved like the original Mopar, each part is screen printed. br>br>Hopefully, this information was useful in preventing someone from being duped by this dishonest seller. If you're dead set on getting this, at the very least save money and get the $10 version. Because that's what you're getting in the first place. (Unless you think a half-opened Mopar bag is worth $72, in which case you're welcome. ) Best of luck!.
09 TO FIND OUT IT DOESN'T CLIP ON THE WIRE HARNESS, NOW I HAVE TO GO TO A DIFFERENT SELLER TO GET THE ORIGINAL ONE THAT FITS, VERY DISAPPOINTING, BUYER BEWARE!.
For a few months, it worked; The high idle, on the other hand, is back. If I don't find anything else to blame (I've already cleaned the throttle body and the MAP sensor), I'll keep this review at 5 stars.
Ring. I waited over a week for this to arrive in the mail so that I could drive my XJ, only to find that it was incomplete. I'm furious. I'm going to buy something else so I can be sure I'll get exactly what I ordered. ADDITIONALLY, this product does not resemble the OEM TPS or even the TPS in the product image.
I needed the original equipment manufacturer's part, and I was able to obtain it. I bought the sensor to replace the one in my 1999 Jeep TJ 4. br>Removed the old sensor and replaced it with a Mopar replacement after disconnecting the positive battery terminal. br>The sensor turned off the check engine light, and the Jeep is back to normal. br>I was looking for an OEM part and was not disappointed. br>I recommend spending a few extra dollars for the OEM; it was well worth it, and the price was the best I could find anywhere.
For a 97 Jeep Wrangler TJ, this item is a perfect fit. In first gear, I had a stutter as I got up to speed. Because it is constantly moving with the use of the throttle, it appears to be a common sensor to go bad. On the back of the throttle body, this is a simple installation. I tried a few knockoffs that either didn't fit (said they did) or didn't work correctly, so this part is definitely worth the Mopar price.
The one I replaced was a Chrysler factory part with 220k miles on it that only died after fording water. Loctite is used to hold the original torx bolts in place, and the replacement bolts come with a red loctite patch. I dissolved it in acetone and then used antiseptic to clean it up. Instead, I decided to seize in case I ever had to do this job again in my life; after clearing the code, the check engine light never came back, and the engine functions normally again.
It's not a real mopar, it doesn't have any mopar markings, and it has mopar packaging, but it's not even close to the picture. Then, for the TPS, I got a check engine light. Due to an incorrect description, I was unable to obtain a full refund and was forced to go through Amazon; DO NOT BUY!.
