As far as the updated part number is concerned, I cannot comment. The only data I remember is I replaced my old TPS in 2012 and it is still working today.
The 213-page There is a superseded number for 213-912, which is 912.
This part is listed as fitting your vehicle in the " Amazon Parts Finder ", so if it says that the part fits your vehicle (1999 Chevy Suburban ), then it should. The end of this plug does appear as ROUND from the picture position, but it has a 3/16 cut-out for the plug that goes inside that round looking end. The flat surface of the MALE plug is angled away from the sides. It is my hope that this information is helpful. I hope this will help you in some way, but the Amazon Parts Finder will track every item you click on to view, and it will tell you if that part fits. Thanks to Joe Savage Sr.
Checking the Fitment Chart, you will find that 2004 Lumina is not on the list.

To me, the best way to ensure you get genuine sensors for your vehicles is to purchase genuine parts. According to readings I've seen on the web, people have had transmission issues due to faulty throttle position sensors. In my truck, I noticed that it was upshifting at a lower speed than when it was newer, but I attributed this to the transmission being older and worn (which it still is). Even with a custom tune, the transmission still shifted at a low speed, even though it shifted harder than it should. I found that a TPS could be a solution after researching it. I had never seen a code corresponding to a faulty TPS code, but figured it wouldn't hurt to try if it didn't solve the issue. With the new transmission, I am able to shift the same way I did when it was new, and without hunting through gears as a worn 4L65 is prone to doing. There are cheaper parts you can buy, and they may be fine, but I always buy OEM to ensure I get the best performance.
As much as I know, this is my third attempt at ordering an AC Delco part These parts are either not suitable for their image on this website or won't fit and look different from what they look like on this website. They also look like knock offs rather than original AC Delco parts. Every AC Delco part I've owned has the AC Delco name somewhere on it, and the part number is engraved, stamped, or designed into the product. This is nothing but a waste of time. Despite their low price, the sticker on them has numbers that do not even match the part numbers.
It is the same as the original. Initially, I thought I had a problem with my transmission shifting hard. After some research, I decided to replace it and sure enough, my Silverado shifts like new! As I was slowing down to a stop, I always suspected that something was wrong with the idle since the truck still wanted to move. In fact, if I continue to carry out regular fluid drains and fills, I have no doubt that my transmission will continue to work for a long time to come.
The S10 II I bought in 1998. It was discovered that a high voltage code was being sent to the TPS on a 5-speed truck. To my surprise, I verified my 5 volt reference, ground, and signal wires to the ECM are all working properly. The new TPS sensor was installed, but I experienced a hesitation off idle from the very beginning. Make sure that every component in the fuel system has been double-checked. Then we ran it through all of the drive cycles. In the end, it was the TPS sensor that led the way. After I picked up a few sensor at a local junkyard, I swapped them out, and you can tell right away whether they are OEM sensors or not. There is a possibility these are being falsely advertised as OEM parts when in fact they are Chinese knock-offs, so I am returning the product and recommending I don't purchase it. I talked with Amazon about this possibility.
What an outrageous pricing model that Amazon has here! This product is being sold for $45 on Amazon and it's not even original! It was immediately after installing this that my truck started misfiring badly and the check engine light came on. There is a warning for you!.
In addition to the acceleration issue, I had an intermittent "check engine light" problem. The acceleration was jerky and erratic when the light came on. Now that the old sensor has been replaced, my acceleration feels much smoother throughout the entire power band. As it turned out, the old sensor caused erratic acceleration even when it wasn't showing any errors. An ultra-small sensor shocks me, since I never imagined it would be so powerful. A 1997 Chevy Suburban K2500 4x4 with a 7. 4 engine was used as the application. There are four liters (454) in the.
As a tuned unit, if the throttle body goes bad, you must replace it all. You don't have to waste time chasing after gremlins when you have a new IAC TPS and throttle body together for 180$. There is a possibility that you left some dog food out and that triggered a lean code and now you are on your way to You may regret any tune changes made if you failed to check voltage and ground at the PCM.
There has been some confusion over whether this is original equipment manufacturer or However, no codes are thrown, but the engine revs at an incorrect level. A real OEM version of this unit has been installed, so the problem has been resolved.
