I bought it for the LT motor throttle body, not for the LS motor.

I had thought that I had a bad idle air control valve on my car. Through this device, I was able to fix the problem. As well as failing to resolve the higher than normal idle, the Idle Air Control valve had to be replaced as well as occasionally picking up Even when I moved only the throttle, the idle decreased. There was a problem with the TPS, I figured. Seeing that this was a good one, I replaced it and the car idled perfectly again. The only thing I wish is that it came with a new foam rubber gasket, so that I could not reuse the original. It won't be a problem to use the old gasket again.
It probably didn't occur to you to say wow wow wow, what an incredible display. The other than an AC Delco TPS was installed about a month ago, and at first they seemed to work as expected, but after a month or two it started to produce high idle and weird transmission shifting again. In any case, I read several reviews in which AC Delco was mentioned and how it was more effective than the alternatives. So after installing the AC Delco unit in place of the non AC Delco unit, wow how the car drives like it did when it was brand new! The product I used was designed to work perfectly on my old Cadillac. If you have a similar issue as I did, I would recommend picking up the original manufacturer's parts, and in my case my car was an old Cadillac, so the AC Delco parts were perfect.
Takes only a few minutes. It took me less than 10 minutes to replace this TPS sensor on my 95 Astro. I have never encountered a problem with OEM equipment as it has always been perfect price/fit. OEM equipment has never failed me compared to cheaper parts that have failed me. Many thanks for your comment James E.
E. is always better than a bad one. I am very happy with the new sensor on my Impala SS. Idle is a little bit smoother than before, and shifts are a bit crisper. If you want to avoid headaches, it is highly recommended to work with OE over any other company.
My 1995 Firebird Trans Am idled better after I corrected my idling issue.
My hard shift issue is fixed and I can now get up a hill without having to floor.
