From start to finish, it takes 20 minutes

Compared to replacing the entire throttle body on a 6 litre Chevrolet 2500 HD, it was much less expensive to purchase this throttle position sensor. The TB is removed from the intake about 3 minutes later, and the old rivets are drilled out (easy) The old sensor is removed, and the new one is installed using the provided Once you've done this, reassemble the intake and plug in the factory harness. Your code has been reset and the service light is no longer visible.

The system I could have gotten the job done easier if the lock nuts were not so tight

Out of the four screws, three of them tightened well. I did not do so well with the fourth. Snug up tight couldn't be achieved because the head of the screw is stripped.
